How do I add my own preprocessing methods to the Preprocess GUI?

===Possible Solutions:===

Version 3.0 of the PLS_Toolbox introduced advanced preprocessing functionality which is utilized in the modeling GUIs, such as Decompose and Regression, as well as many of the higher-level modeling functions called from the Matlab command line. This function,
PREPROCESS
, comes with many standard preprocessing techniques already installed in the catalog of available methods. It is, however, also designed to allow user-customization of the methods catalog. This functionality allows users to design their own preprocessing methods and easily distribute them to their colleagues or onto on-line analyzers, for example. These methods will be available in all the GUIs and modeling functions which use the preprocess functionality.

We have created [[User_Defined_Preprocessing | an on-line tutorial]] which takes you through the necessary steps of adding your own methods. First, you create a preprocessing structure which contains all the necessary commands and information for the
PREPROCESS
function to successfully perform your method. Then, you make this method available by adding it to the preprouser.m file.

Additional information on the preprocess structures can be found by typing
preprouser help
at the command line.
