How do I use the Eigenvector License Server in the cloud?
Possible Solutions:
Installing the License Server in the cloud is very similar to installing on an intranet computer. Use the following outline as a guide to installing on the cloud:
- Create a cloud instance of a Debian flavored Linux disto, we've had success with Ubuntu on the smallest shared CPU at Linode/Akamai.
- Install the Linux daemon of the License Server on your shared instance.
- Configure the server xml files.
- Start the daemon.
- Check the server to verify it's running.
