Issue:

I ran the PLS_Toolbox installer and a menu asks to start Matlab and run a script, but Matlab never starts. How do I finish the installation?

Possible Solutions:

This can happen when our installer doesn't find Matlab in the Windows registry. For instance, a new installation of Matlab won't be in the registry until it's restarted.

To install PLS_Toolbox:

  1. Start Matlab.
  2. Make the PLS_Toolbox main folder your Current Directory in Matlab.
  3. Run the following command from the command line and follow the instructions for installation:
    >> evriinstall
  4. Restart Matlab to initialize PLS_Toolbox documentation in the Matlab help system.
